Kevin Austin '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kevin Austin, and I am an incoming senior at Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, OH. My goal is to obtain a scholarship at a DI, DII, or DIII university, whether it is an athletic scholarship or an academic scholarship. I am 100% committed to achieving that goal and that is why I work hard every day on the court and off the court. I want to attend a university where I can play basketball and earn my degree.

My current weighted GPA is 3.409 and I scored a 29 on my ACT. I am also enrolled in the Academy of Global Studies at Winton Woods HS. Through project based learning, this program has prepared me for college classes. It has taught me to work with others, use resources wisely, and more ways to use technology.

My greatest strengths are my work ethic and being coachable. I will work my hardest to do what my coach asks of me. I can also do the intangibles. Not only do I do the big things, I also do the small things.

Most recently, my AAU team (Queen City Prophets 17u) placed 14th at the AAU National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. We are also ranked 25th in the 2014 11th Grade D1 Final Power Rankings.
