Hello, I am Matthew Watkins and go to Perrysburg High School in Ohio and part of class 2023. My goals for college are to get a great education which is the most important to me because I know that basketball isn't going to last forever. One of my other goals is to play basketball in college. I have played basketball almost my whole life and I would love to keep playing in college. I love the game and will do anything to help my teammates and help our team win. I have good size and speed and can can guard any position on the court. What makes me different is my passion, love for the game and my work ethic. I try to workout everyday and get shots up so when it is game time, I am ready to go and ready to perform at the highest level. Even when I am on the bench, I encourage my teammates and try to give them the best advice to help us win. I also have great grades and try my best in school everyday. I know that getting in to college is not just about sports, it relies a lot on grades and I work my hardest to get the best grades. All in all, I believe that if I have the right mindset and go 110% at everything I do, I believe that I can be the best player that I can be.
