I have been playing competitive basketball since the 3rd grade. While I have played other sports such as lacrosse and soccer in the past, basketball has always been my passion. From an early age my father helped me train hard on my basketball skills, along with my brother, particularly focusing on dribbling and finishing at the basket. The part I enjoy most about basketball is leading others on the court. My coach tells me I have good court vision and a good basketball IQ – my favorite thing to do is to pick other defensive schemes apart, and set my teammates up for a score. I enjoy scoring as well, but honestly, getting everyone else involved is the most satisfying. My mother and father have been a big influence in my life, helping me develop academically, physically, and most importantly – spiritually. Faith is a big part of my life, and I feel very blessed with all that God has done in my life. I always want to be a good steward of those blessings, and I’m excited to see what the future holds in both college and basketball, as well as what lies beyond that.
