I found a love for basketball in the years that I watched my school’s varsity team play when I was younger. As a student athlete in college I have goals of achieving a bachelor’s degree and improving skills in basketball and in leadership. Playing sports in high school, such as basketball and soccer, has taught me the work ethic needed for athletics and school . This has caused me to have a goal to have an overall 3.0 grade point average for high school. After having a bad start my freshman year I have been able to maintain higher than a 3.0 average this year.
