My dream is to be professional. I've been playing basketball since I was three years old, I didn't become serious about it until seventh grade. I took a break during my 5th-6th grade year and then rejoined my middle school basketball team again in seventh grade. I started working on how I play and not just playing around. During my eighth grade year, my team and I made it to the ORES state quarter-finals.
During my sports career, I've been told football is my sport. I started playing peewee during 3rd-4th grade. After taking a break and growing some more I began playing again in the 7th grade. My team suffered a bad season going 1-9. The next year, we dominated the regular season with a record of 11-0. Going into the playoffs we faced no challenge and went undefeated winning our first championship. I started high school at Atoka High School but soon transferred to my current school, Coalgate High School. This year I'm taking a break from the sport due to medical reasons but plan on playing all throughout the rest of high school.
I began playing track during 6th grade. Being my size I was assigned to shot put and discus. During that year I went to state in ORES but suffered a loss in both events. I played again the next year and was assigned to the 300m hurdles along with my other two events. Throughout the season I dominated shot put and was second in discus most meets. Going into the ORES Semi-finals, I placed 1st in shot put, 2nd in discus, and 2nd in hurdles. Now in the finals, I placed 1st in discus throwing a massive 138 feet (almost breaking the state record), 2nd in shot put, and losing in the hurdles.
Now that I'm going into high school, I plan on becoming better at the sports of basketball, track, and football, physically and mentally. I'm willing to put in any kind of work if it means achieving my goals.
