I've been in love with the game of basketball since the first time I stepped on the court to play boys and girls club ball. My parents have set a high standard for me academically and basketball wise. They want me to be not only the best basketball player I can be but the best student I can be.
My freshman year I had a huge learning experience. I wanted to be on varsity but my freshman team only had five players, including me, so I had to play freshman ball in order to have the team. That built my character up and allowed for me to have an explosive sophomore campaign.
My Sophomore high school year was disappointing due to our season record, but it was also encouraging in that I built my confidence and achieved some of statistics goals, scoring an average of 16 points per game. During the summer after my Sophomore year I played AAU basketball with the Oklahoma Power Select squad and grew even more with my court leadership skills.
During my Junior year of my high school campaign, our season record improved, and my individual performance did also. I continue to hold over a 4 point GPA in my academic profile, with Honors and Core curriculum.
