Playing basketball in college has been a dream of mine since I started to play basketball at the age of 5. Playing basketball showed me that I am a leader and I have my own style of play. I consider myself of having a winning mentality. My key components are: shooting off the kick, ball handling, high IQ, finding the open man, and defending. The areas I feel I need improvement in are: being more aggressive going to the bucket, talking more on defense, and increasing my stamina.
When I'm not on the basketball court, I am active in my church by ushering, attending youth conferences, and volunteering at the local food bank. I plan to continue to be a great student to increase my options of attending college and playing basketball.
