Thomas Chilton '19 Recruiting Profile

   Basketball has been a big part of my life since I was 8 years old. I want to use it to earn myself the best education possible and I want it to help me get to where I want to be in life. 

    I have tried to make it a focus of mine to always bring hard work ethic, high basketball IQ, leadership, determination to any team I play on. I also bring a strong drive to the rim, the ability to knock down outside shots and energetic defense. I believe that the coaches I have worked with over the years have seen that in me and it has made me a coachable player. I bring the same mindset to my academics. My teachers would see me as an involved and focused student who uses that mindset to do well in classes.

    My ideal program would have a coach who is strict but fair and holds his players accountable. A coach who is easily respected is easy to follow in my opinion. A program with a team mentality is something very important to me. I believe my strong character and leadership can carry an instant impact on teams like that.
