My name is Jacob Devereaux; I am a 6' combo guard out of Pendleton High School located in Pendleton, Oregon, and had the pleasure of being elected defensive player of the year for my 2021 Jr. season. Basketball has always been a huge passion of mine, from shoveling the driveway in 3 ft. deep snow to shoot and work on ball handling to waking up at 5:30 am before class to go to the gym. Using basketball as an escape has always helped me mentally as well as physically. I have maintained an honor roll status in the classroom all years of high school so far and plan on continuing to hold that status. I also had the pleasure of achieving academic all-state for my 2019-2020 sophomore year. I pride myself on my work ethic and integrity.
I feel as I can be the hardest working athlete on the court no matter the situation. If given a chance to walk on or play with a scholarship, my biggest goal is to better myself on the court as well as off with pure determination and focus. I love the game to the core and cant wait to see where it takes me.
I look forward to speaking to you all.
