Mason Yingling '19 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the game of basketball ever since I was in first grade.  Ever since then I have been in the gym striving to make myself better and coming out of my senior season I feel like I am playing my best basketball yet without a doubt.

I am very passionate about the game and I'm all about getting the W at the end of the day.  One standout story I would like to tell would be going into the Christmas tournament as a 3A team and we matched up against Hollidaysburg which is a 5A team and nobody in the world thought that we would win the game, even some of the players on the team thought it wouldn't even be a game.  Well we played our hearts out and ended up winning that game in overtime and proved everyone wrong.  Nobody thought we would do anything and we ended up making the state playoffs and losing to Lincoln Park who ended up state champions.  Throughout the season I had very memorable moments such as the Hollidaysburg game,  a 40 point game, and I set a new school record for single season 3 pointers.  I love the game so much and I'm not ready to give it up and would love for an opportunity to play at the next level.
