Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Marcus Brown and I am a junior point/shooting guard at Cameron County High School in Emporium PA. As one of four brothers my love of sports and competitiveness started early in life. I'm currently a three sport athlete playing baseball, golf and basketball. Through hard work and dedication I am proud to have started and lettered in each of these sports since my freshman year.

Basketball has become my true love and the ability to continue playing basketball collegiately has become my goal. I have always been a hard worker both on and off the court. I currently maintain a 93.8 gpa while working as a greenskeeper and volunteering as an umpire at our local Little League fields.

I look forward to playing basketball while gaining a degree in education.
