Dereck Riggleman '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dereck Riggleman and I am currently a senior at Mapletown High School. I am currently 5'11 and 160 pounds. I play point guard for our basketball team. I averaged 25 points a game this season, 5 assists a game, and shot 45% from the field this year. I scored a total of 1,264 points in my four years of starting. I broke the school record previously this season by scoring 51 points in a single game. Although these a personal achievements, I bring much to the table in terms of a team player and a leader. I was apart of the team last year that won our first playoff game since 1972. I am a leader on and off the court. I am the type of player that believes in his teammates in all costs. Building a strong team chemistry is a must. I am a very hardworking athlete that is never content with my ability. I am constantly thinking of ways on and off the court to improve my overall game. I am very interested in playing basketball in the collegiate level. I am a player that will bring a positive, winning attitude that just truely enjoys the game of basketball and seeing growth and development among myself and my teammates.
