Dion Harris '18 Recruiting Profile

I cannot remember not playing basketball. I started playing basketball at 8 year old for local recreation and eventually began to play on an AAU basketball.   I was recruited by Sports U Team Izod , Under Armor team that competes at the national level. We won back-to-back title 2015 and 2016.   What makes me different that other recruits? I play with passion with every position. I have continued to grow and be ahead and of most of the others my age. I attribute my elite basketball skills to God. Even when my scoring stats are low, you can count on me to make it up for it in other stats.

I challenge myself in academics as much as challenge myself in basketball. Academics and basketball are equally important me. In a globally complex society, I must be able to meet life's challenges on and off the court. I have a high basketball I.Q. as well. I can make quick and sound decisions. I understand that I must be able to think critically. I spend most of my free time working out and training.

In summary, I am a highly skilled basketball player who started varsity while in the 8th grade. I am strong academically. I have an innate desire to be successful.
