~Since I was a little boy, I was fascinated with the game basketball. I love every aspect of the game, especially playing defense. When I was in the fifth grade, I was impressed with other players on my team, as well as the NBA players and wanted learn more about the skill of basketball.
First of all, obtaining my diploma is a personal goal, it is visual symbol of my knowledge and it also represents a trophy won by my dedication and hard work. Also another approach to my success is to be the student and basketball player I can possibly be, and by this I mean that I want to learn as much as possible for myself and instructors. I am a strong “B” student with a 3.1 grade point average.
I love business and math. While in school, I am a member of the business club as well as the math team. I may want to become an accountant in the future.
I am a positive young man with a positive image, a build personal strong strength through my close family, church and community and I strive to achieve excellence in my academics.
Personally, I want to be able to obtain a higher education that will give me the opportunity to be better in many ways. As mentioned earlier, I am a hard worker with personal goals in life in order to survive, prosper, and succeed in every journey that life gives.
I have three goals for college. First, I want to earn my degree (hopefully through a scholarship), which would help out my mom. Second, play BASKETBALL and third play BASKETBALL!
As an educated basketball player, I am ready for the sacrifice, devote effort and attention. I can balance the roles of being a full time student and a full time athlete. I believe that basketball leaders are made and not born with qualities developed through experience both on and off the court. I know that I possess such traits. I have learned from my failures and use them to improve my ability to motivate, inspire and ultimately win.
I believe that I possess integrity, positive values, principle and actions. I strive for positive inspirations for my teammates and others. Most of all, I am committed to achieve daily, weekly and ultimate the goals. I commit to the work to be a better player, that’s requires to get the job done. I do not give up when it gets tough and I stay focus on what needs to be achieved.
I recognize the steps need for improvement and what it takes to get to the next level. I will commit the time between games to develop my strength, conditioning and court skills.
I am a humble and good team player that comes up with ideas in ways that motivate, not offend. I strive to say thinks to keep the team’s confidence high.
I know that I am an excellent outstanding candidate because I possess a burning fire for the love of basketball in my heart.
