The qualifications I feel I am strong in are my willingness and desire to always give at least 100% in everything I do, as a student by keeping my grades first and foremost, by getting and keeping my grades as A's and B's in my school which is a rigorous Classical Education School. This is very difficult in a rigorous classical curriculum, so I must work hard to keep my grades up. As a player, I am definitely a team player and I have been told by many coaches in the league how unselfish of a player I am on my team. For every game and or practice my main goal I ask myself is did I help to make my teammates better players in practices and games? This is what separates good players from great players. As a person, I try to be unselfish by looking to always help others in my school community, with my classmates and with my peers, and teammates . As a basketball player I pride myself in being a great shooter, passer, and defender. I love playing defense and sharing the ball. I am able to get my teammates involved and I can do everything on the basketball court well. I feel I have extremely strong court presence and I am very aware of my teammates and my opponents on the court. This enables me to be a above average player because I don't just run and gun. My goal is to play college basketball, earn my degree in my field of study, and impact the university in a positive way. My degree comes first of course, but I would love to play basketball because I feel I am an above average player with a willingness to learn more and to be the best player I am capable of being. I also feel I am very coachable and I am willing to play anywhere on the court and do anything and everything it takes to be a better player, a better student and ultimately a better man. It is important that I also give back in some way to society, to my school and with my classmates and teammates. The fact that I am unselfish is key for me to make this happen.
