First, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to view my profile.
My name is William "Devon" Banks and I'm a 5'10" point guard graduating with the 2016 class. From day one, I've always loved basketball, however I started out with football, but I eventually gravitated to basketball. It’s my first love.
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play basketball at the college level and hopefully overseas. I hope to one day go into sports marketing or some field related to the sports/basketball industry.
What makes me a good candidate and separates me from most players, is that I'm an unselfish team player (team first type of player), with a good ball IQ that will set my team members in a position to score. I look to pass the ball, but will good hard and dominate to score or draw the foul if necessary. I'm small in stature, but have been told that I'm very scrappy and tough. I have an even keeled personality and take constructive criticism well, but definitely a fierce competitor who wants to win.
Academically, I've had some struggles in school, with average grades, but over time, I've matured and improved my grades to above average. I've always been interested in Math and History.
In closing, I look forward to hearing from you and the possibility of visiting your school.
