I am Justin Pryor, class of 2017 at Sewickley Academy in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. I am a good candidate for any team because I am a hard worker, and have a tremendous amount of love for the game. I practice every day for hours because I am determined to become the best player I can be. I hate when I'm not the first person at practice, and am always the last one to leave. I want people to associate me as the hardest worker on the team because I think that helps me earn their respect as a leader. I am determined to be the best player on the court every game I play, and if someone on the other team is outplaying me, then I do whatever I can to stop him. Most importantly, I want to win every game I play. This can range from one on one with someone after practice, or a state championship. Whatever the significance, I always want to win, and do whatever it takes to do so.
I am a natural born athlete with an athletic family background as my parents and grandfather were all division 1 athletes. I am very different from other recruits because of my work ethic both in athletics and academics. I am very determined to be a consistent A and B student, and always improve from years past. My school, Sewickley Academy, has taught me how to be a hard worker academically through a challenging curriculum. My work ethic also separates me from other recruits athletically, because I work harder than most. I am very determined to work at a weak link of my game until it becomes one of my strongest aspects. I have also developed a strong leadership trait through my experiences as being a captain of my school basketball team. I know the significance of a team who works hard together for the benefit of the team, and encourage my teammates to have that mentality.
Overall I am a type of player who sets high goals for myself and my team, and work hard to accomplish them. I believe that mentality would benefit any team I am on.
