When I was two, I received a little tikes basketball hoop and from the videos I've seen, I really gave that thing a workout. I started playing in basketball leagues at the age of five. I have always wanted to compete and play at the highest levels. I push myself hard at practices and games and take pride in being number one, weather it be defense, ball handling, shooting, running suicides, or jumping ability. My basketball IQ is also very high. I know that getting everyone involved, especially through assists is key to a great season.
I volunteer at basketball camps and have assisted at coaching at the grade school level. My parents are proud of what I do and how I do it. I maintain a good GPA and know that education is the ultimate goal.
I come from a private school that stresses discipline, accountability and a strict code of ethics. The academics at Holy Redeemer are very challenging but I still excel in math and physics. Holy Redeemer has prepared me to be a leader and an asset to any team in whatever capacity that is needed. The right college is out there for me, I just need to make the connection.
I was selected as a member of the 2015 1st Team All Conference Team. Team selection was based upon a consensus vote of all of the conference team coaches. I was also named The Times Leader's Athlete of the Week on February 15, 2015.
