As I moved in towards middle school I received a scholarship to play basketball were I currently study, Antilles Military Academy. This opportunity has contributed to my leadership skills, team playing mentality and work ethics. Being in a military school, has also contributed in supporting my educational structure and discipline. As I continued to work hard I was able to achieve to be invited to the National Honor Society. In my development in the game of basketball, I have been exposed to different coaches and mentors, since I was seven years old, coaches that have also contributed to my character as an athlete. Discipline, dedication and strong basketball fundamentals are some of the traits I have obtain, always adding a strong value of that hard work and practice is a key factor to success. These traits translated into a winning streak of 172 games and over 11 championships representing our municipality. These experiences in sum and with the influence and support of my parents, have modeled who I am to this point.
