Victor Cartagena '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play basketball at a high level while getting a great education so I can become a doctor in the future.  I bring great leadership on and off the court and I always make sure that my teammates feel comfortable and confident in their game.  One of my best assets is that I'll accept any role given to me whether it is defensively or offensively.  Currently, I am the captain of my varsity team and I am working every single day on my game to become the best version of myself.  Also, I have always prioritized my education above everything and this has lead me to get good grades and ultimately have a 4.0 GPA.  I wish to be part of a great basketball and academic program that allows me to get better every single day in both areas. I only need a chance to prove myself and I promise to work hard to achieve my goals.  I love the game of basketball with all my heart and my passion for the game is the biggest strength in my game.  It would be an honor for me to be a part of a great institution basketball and academically wise and my commitment would be to maintain that distinction with my performance.
