I started picking up a basketball when I was 3 years old, it was like love at first sight. I learned about myself through basketball that I am disciplined and want to get better in basketball and every aspect in life, also I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. In college I would like to help my team in every aspect and become a better student every day. High school basketball here in Puerto Rico helped me toughened up because defense is key here, there’s a lot of physicality and that prepared me each year for college basketball. If had to overcome many obstacles to get to where I’m at right now but the one that stands out is when they say I’m too short to play basketball and constantly I keep proving them wrong. I want to continue playing basketball at a collegiate level and improve my skills as a player. Characteristics I possess are my leadership, kindness, way of thinking and being able to understand quickly. Skills that I possess are my ball handling, ability to get to the basket, three point shot and my court vision.
