Ryder Kehler
My name is Ryder Kehler and I attend Dr. Martin Leboldus Catholic High School. The goal of receiving an athletic or academic scholarship is one that I work for every day. In the 2015/16 season I was a starter for the junior varsity team. We ended up winning the championship 85-52 on my 22 points (leading scorer). I do consider myself a natural leader as I help encourage my teammates to get better and give everything they can in every practice and game.
I deem myself the right fit for an academic scholarship offer as I have an outstanding work ethic (on and off of the court), I have great academics (high honor roll), I listen to others and adapt very well. I am able to manage my time between schoolwork, pts ting and lifting/training.
I believe that with all of the basketball training I have received so far, my main attributes on the court include: high percentage free-throw shooter, consistent 3-point shooter, mid-range shooter; defender on ball and help side; ability to ball handle; capable of playing and defending all positions. I am able to run plays according to what the coach requests and what the defense is playing, remain effective under pressure. I always want to help my team in any way I can, whether it is playing on the court or staying motivated on the bench.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I truly believe I will be the right pick for your school.
