For the last few years, my collegiate goals and aspirations have been to go to a Division University on a full scholarship. I prefer to attend a University with a high ranking in academics and basketball athletic programs. It is essential to have a good backup plan, so my backup to playing professional basketball will be in medicine. I believe in pushing myself to work hard today to accomplish my goals for tomorrow.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that my coaches have told me that I am a cerebral player. I can read the court, think ahead, and set myself and my teammates up for success. My coaches and teachers tell my parents and me they see my good character in all my endeavours. I try to work as hard as I can and be the kindest person I can be. What sets me apart from other players is that I am selfless and resilient. A lot of players only want success for themselves; I want success for my team. I have been on winning teams and losing teams, regardless of which, I remain committed to supporting my team. Further, I can bounce back from challenging situations on and off the court.
What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I genuinely possess all three qualities. I effectively combine all of these qualities to be the best person, student, and player in every setting. There are not many perfect players out there, so we need to make up or supplement our shortfalls. I use my intellectual ability to compliment and enhance my basketball skills.
