Chico (Ross) Plunkett '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a freshman playing on Creek Wood High School basketball team. My goals for this year are to be starting by mid season, score 12 pts a game, 5 assists, and have 5 rebounds. I will always do my best to be a positive role model and have good sportsmanship with a win or loss. My aspirations are to improve my game each year to advance my playing ability to move on to college level basketball.

As my freshman year finished, I earned and maintained a starting position for the 11 games of regular season and 5 post season games.  As a started, I averaged 11 pts, 3 rbs, 3 apg and a couple steals as well.  I shot 48% from the field, 44% from the 3 pt line and 79% from the free throw line.  I have not decided if I am going to play a rigorous summer travel schedule as I want to work on my individual ball handling, shooting and my fundamentals as well as my strength.  I look to attend one of the Point Guard Camps and a Blue Chip Individual Camp.  I have already shot over 3500 shots since my season has ended.  I also am playing in some local AAU tournaments, just not the travel. I hope you continue to view my profile. 

As I am now a senior, I have worked hard and improved my ball handling and IQ on the court.  This year I am averaging 18.75 pts a game 6 rebound and 4 assists.  I take pride in defense and denying and shutting down the other teams best offensive players.  I scored 41 pts in a game this year and hit 8 threes too,  I am the only team captain chosen by my teammates.  I do my best to be an all around player.  I always look to pass first.  I would like the chance to continue my career in college.  I am a team spirit lifter and give the best I have every game.
