Playing college basketball has always been my goal since before I can remember. I have just finished my junior season at Christ's Church Academy in Jacksonville, FL and will attend boarding school at The McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN for my senior year. The move will provide a step towards more independence and maturity in an outstanding academic and basketball environment. All of which will prepare me to have the maturity to be successful in college, both in the classroom and on the basketball court.
As a junior with Christ's Church Academy, I was a starter and was instrumental in the team doubling its wins from the previous year. I finished the regular season with an average of 13.9 ppg (via Max Preps), as well as 13 points (twice during the season) vs. Impact the state runner-up in Florida. I was named to the 2020-2021 All First Coast basketball team (10 counties in NE Florida). I also played on St. Johns Showtime's AAU team for two years and played for 904 Elite in the Live Events in July 2021.
My game has improved over the last year through nightly workouts with my private coach Kevin Roulhac of 4 years, who played at Syracuse University, New York Knicks organization, overseas and is a current professional player for the Jacksonville Giants. I practiced with and against other elite players from around the city going toe-to-toe. Through these practices, I have consistently focused on refining my shooting, defending, scoring, and physicality. Weightlifting and conditioning are key contributors to my recent spurt in scoring in AAU from around 12 ppg to 19 ppg. I regularly hit the gym 3-4x per week, focusing on improving my overall athleticism, including my flexibility, strength, and agility. As the speed of the game gets faster, I work to stay a step ahead. Finally, I competed on the Varsity Track team this year to improve my explosiveness and speed, running the 100m, 200m, 400m and 4X400m relay.
My goals academically are also high. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and a 1330 SAT score. I am dedicated and committed to being a true student athlete. My parents are great role models for me. My mother obtained a Division I full-ride tennis scholarship and participated in the NCAA tournament all of her 4 years. My father ran cross country and track in college.
I am looking for a coach and program that will give me a chance to prove myself and make a positive impact on their team.
