Basketball is the one constant thing in my life that keeps me pushing myself to always be better. I have been playing since I was 6 years old. I am interested in playing at the college level, because I know that I am just starting to really find my maturity in the sport. I have so much more to contribute!
I have a 3.2 GPA. I was voted Class Favorite and chosen by my peers as Coming Home candidate my Junior year. I ran cross country my Freshman and Sophomore years. I love Cross Fit!
I feel that I would be an asset to any team because I am a very versatile player. I started my basketball career as a post player because I was always taller than everyone in my younger years. As I entered 8th grade, I realized the need to start pushing myself to focus on improving my agility, ball handling and guard play. Even though I currently play 4/5 position on my high school team, I am confident that I have the ability to play anywhere on the court. I can shoot from anywhere on the court and have the confidence to learn new things. I do what is necessary to see my team is successful.
I am a team player. I am a hard worker. I have always had to put in more work due to my size. Quickness and agility have been hard earned for me and I am proud of it. Hard earned talent is the most rewarding and it is contagious! I stand out from other players because of my energy and hard work on the court. I can take on a lot of pressure and not lose my focus!
I have been told that I am one of the most coachable players on my team and that is important to me! I have passion for the success of my teammates and want to see the entire team win!
