I have been playing basketball most of my life. Faith has played an important role in my life and taught me discipline and hard work. I have played on our school's varsity team for the past 3 years. I received significant minutes in both my freshman and sophomore seasons, and started every game my junior year. Last season, I was named to the All-District Team and led our team in scoring, rebounding, and free throw percentage.
After graduating 7 seniors, my junior season was challenging playing with several young players. This past season taught me how to deal with adversity and has helped me grow as a person. Playing basketball has taught me leadership and the value of teamwork. I believe I have the talent, work ethic, and character to play at the collegiate level.
My current ACT score is a 27 and my unweighted GPA is 3.47. My academic interest in college is to major in engineering or business finance.
