My Freshman year our Freshman Team went 17-1 and won the Freshman Title I had 28 points in the Championship game and was named to the All Tournament Team. This was a huge Highlight for me. I also made the Varsity team as a Freshman which meant a lot to me and was one of my goals. I did not get to play much on Varsity my Freshman year but I learned great lessons in practice going against the older guys and gained great experience. More importantly it let me know what I needed to improve on to get to the next level and accomplish my goals. Going into my Sophomore year playing strictly Varsity I had to make some huge adjustments. Coming off the bench for the 1st time in my career made me train work and compete harder than ever before I came in early and stayed late. I worked hard in the weight room and with my skills trainer. I earned 6th man of the Year as a Sophomore and my Team went to the District Championship losing in a close game. We won one game in the Regional before losing another close game before Sub State. This made my will to succeed and win even stronger.
I love the game of Basketball and I am confident I can compete at the next level. My work ethic is my greatest strength I am a gym rat I stay in the gym getting my shots up going to skills training and working out with my Vertimax Trainer. I know that proper preparation prevents poor performance. My Goals are to compete for a State Championship with my Teammates these next 2 years continue to get stronger and more skilled as a basketball player and be known as the best shooter scorer defender competitor and student to come out of my city and state. I know accomplishing these things will help me reach my ultimate goal of playing at the next level.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I believe that I have the talent, skills, character, drive and work ethic to not only play for your team but to make a huge impact on the basketball court and in the classroom.
