Tremayne Anderson '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tremayne Anderson, I've recently just moved from Fairbanks, Alaska to San Angelo, Texas. I'm a 6'7 240 pound small forward/power forward, I have been a varsity player my whole high school career. I attended Hutchison High School, most of my high school years. My freshmen year was my schools first time in school's history to make a state appearence, we also got awarded second place in our conference to give us the trip to the state tournament in Anchorage, Alaska where we placed seventh in all 3a division high schools in Alaska. My sophmore year at Hutchison High school we put in the overtime hard work over the summer and it paid off for us in march as we cut down the nets at our conference tournament and the state tournament. Last year I was recognized as Alaska's All State honorable mention, and ranked #4 in the state of Alaska. I'm now attending Lake View High School, in San Angelo, Texas. With living in Alaska I faced a lot of challenges when it comes to being able to be seen by coaches to show them my leadership and work ethic I have to play the next level. Over the summer is where I try to showcase that, with the previous summers I've attended Five Star Basketball Camp in Waco, Texas where I have been awarded a "Five Star All-Star" and received the opportunity to play in the All-Star Classic that Five Star has at the end of camps. I've also played AAU basketball; my sophomore year I traveled with Alaska Flight; a new travel team that was established and had it's first year of being a team that year, where we traveled to Las Vegas and played in The Main Event, and the Summer Showcase. This past summer I got the opportunity to played with the Dallas Mustangs. Early fall I traveled to Boston, Massachuetts where I attended Hoop Moutains Fall Showcase and played against some of the best players on the East Coast. I'm very determined to continue playing basketball after high school, through my high school and earlier career I've put in a lot of work to be notice and showcase that I have the potential to become a very good basketball player, through all the obstacles of playing most of my high school career in Alaska, I still haven't let that stop me from getting the opportunity to play college basketball !!!!
