I've been playing basketball since I was five years old. I've always loved the game, and when I was nine my one big dream became to play collegiate basketball. Along the way, I played baseball and soccer, but basketball has always been where my heart is. I currently play football and basketball because I believe it's important to be a well-rounded athlete and to stay in shape throughout the year.
Although I'm often the youngest player on the court, I assume a leadership role on (and off) the court and field. My teammates look to me for direction, and I understand that my attitude on (and off) the court impacts others. I am always eager to learn and very coachable.
Off the court, I'm working hard to achieve my Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts. I am currently a Life Scout and I hope to reach my goal of Eagle by the summer of 2020. I realize that as important as my athletic goals are, my academics must come first. I study hard and maintain an A average in all my classes. I have been accepted into multiple Honors and DC classes for my senior year. I strive to set a good example for others through my actions and commitment in everything I do.
