My life has been devoted to basketball, education and family. To prepare further for success in college, I have enrolled in the Vermont Academy for a post-graduate year after graduating from the Maret School in 2019.
In basketball, I’ve competed at high levels nationally for winning programs with strong coaching since I was a child. My Maret School team was consistently ranked among the best in the Washington D.C. region after winning 20+ games and reaching the D.C. State Semi-Finals all three years I played substantial varsity minutes. My AAU teams have finished in top ten nationally three times and I have played for one of the top non-shoe sponsored teams in country. For years, I have trained individually outside of team practices to improve my skills and athleticism. My goal is to play college basketball at the highest competitive level possible in a focused basketball program with strong coaching. That's why I chose to attend Vermont Academy where I could be coached by Alex Popp and play in the NEPSAC AAA conference before starting college.
A good academic environment is also important to me. The Maret School is ranked consistently among the top five academic high schools in the Washington, D.C. region and is highly respected nationally for academic excellence. Its curriculum is rigorous and challenging, and I graduated prepared for college academics. I feel studying at Vermont Academy for an additional year will strengthen my academic record and prepare me to manage college life.
I am open to attending school anywhere in the United States. My priority is to find the best fit in a basketball program where I can grow and contribute to a winning culture.
