Jared Cross '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jared Cross and I am a Class of 2020 shooting guard that plays for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (SSSA) High School in Alexandria, VA. I’m a high academic elite basketball player with a 3.87 GPA who is taking his third AP course.

I was named as an all-conference player in the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC). Our team finished 27-3, while wining the conference championship outright with the regular season and tournament conference wins. The team also won the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) division 1 state championship. I had a very successful summer playing basketball for my AAU team (District Basketball) and for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (SSSA) High School in the Capital Hoops Summer League. I started for the District basketball team where I averaged 12 ppg, 4 rpg, 2 apg, and shot 46% from 3-point range. The team lost to the Atlantic Celtics (16U) in the 16U silver bracket finals in the AAU Super Showcase in Orlando.

The Capital Hoops Summer League featured teams such as Dematha HS, St. Johns HS, Flint Hill HS, and O’Connell HS. In the summer league, SSSA HS lost in the quarter finals to St. Johns. For the summer league, I finished fourth in scoring with 79 points, 42.3% 3-point shooting, 26 3-pointers, first in free throw shooting (10/11), first in steals (20) 2 spg, and fourth in minutes
