As I finish my junior year of basketball, my team has not experienced tremendous success in the win column, but my team has grown and improved each year under great coaching and our team's hard work ethic. I believe this is also true for me , individually, as I continue to grow and improve as a basketball player and a person. My basketball skills and abilities have improved drastically over my three years of playing at the varsity level, and I believe that improvement will continue so that my skills can translate and be adaptable to the college level. As I headed into my junior year, I committed myself to improving my skills and dedicated myself to becoming the best basketball player possible in hopes of playing at the collegiate level. Because of my hard work and persistence, I believe that I have grown closer to that goal. I have played basketball my entire life and endured injuries and many obstacles, but my love and enthusiasm for playing the game has not changed .
As I pursue a collegiate level basketball career, I believe I can bring a great work ethic, leadership, fundamentals , natural talent, basketball knowledge, ability to balance academic responsibilities, as well as a great positive team attitude to your college basketball program. In searching for my college fit, I pursue an academically and athletically challenging school, since I have experienced success in the classroom and on the court. I value commitment, leadership, and hard work in a basketball program, and I believe I can personally contribute to all of those areas. As an experienced athlete , and more importantly an experienced basketball player, I know I have what it takes to play and contribute at the collegiate level.
