Post Game Personal Statement
My name is Nathan Arrington and I am currently a rising senior (class of 2021) attending high school in Woodbridge, Virginia. Basketball has been my passion since I was five years old when my dad begin teaching me the fundamentals of the game. I am currently 6’7 and able to play the 1, 2, 3, and 4 position. I have been playing competitive AAU basketball since the third grade. In addition, I have also played football while in middle school and ran track as a Varsity high school athlete.
During my junior year, I was selected to the Virginia 6A 1st team All Conference, Virginia 1st team All Region, selected as a Northern Virginia 2020 All Star, 3rd Team All Washington DC Metropolitan Area and Team MVP (High School) for the 2019-2020 season.
Other notable season highlights included me having a 22 point and 21 rebound game as well as a 30 point and 10 rebounding game with both ending in victories for my team. I finished the season averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game.
If provided the opportunity, I would like to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level and contribute to winning championships. My basketball strengths are my overall offensive scoring versatility, defensive stopper abilities and court vision.
