"I am 6'9 freshmen who attends Norfolk State University. Given my height, I have stuck out in crowds since I was 2 years old. I started playing basketball at age 10, and in high school I was selected for the varsity squad as a sophomore. When called upon, I have played the 3, 4, and 5 position. During high school I was ranked number one in my Division for Blocked Shots. My major is criminal justice and a minor in Business. My aspiration is to play basketball in college to improve my knowledge, skills, and abilities, with hopes to play in the NBA someday. I work hard and believe in team play. In the future, I want to use my education to open a business. I participate in group activities that give back to the community and hope I can find a college team that does the same."

- Phenom Hoop Report: All Tournament Team: Romello Taylor- Christ Chapel: Romello Taylor was a player we couldn’t keep our eyes off all weekend long. He’s very lengthy and can get it done on both sides of the ball. This 6’8” unsigned Senior led all of Division-3 in blocked shots this season, and impressed us beyond belief in both games this weekend. In Friday’s semi-final win over Williamsburg Christian, Taylor 16 points along with 3 boards. In Saturday’s championship loss against Middleburg Academy, Taylor fought to make himself known. He had 18 points along with 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. We were surprised to hear he only holds one college offer. Taylor has the ability to be a player at the next level

In the Semi Finals, Romello had 16 points, 7 rebounds, and contributed to a team win. In the final with a narrow lost as State Runner-Ups, Romello had 18 points, 1 block, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Romello Taylor had a breakout game for the Lions during their first game of the Peninsula Catholic Holiday Classic tournament against Denbigh Baptist Christian School. Romello powered through Denbigh's front line to tally 15 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 blocks as he recorded his first double-double of his Varsity career. The Lions went on to win the contest 72-43.

- ActivitiesI participate in activities that give back to the community. Christ Chapel Acacemy Basketball team feed the homeless at thePrince William County Winter Shelter in Woodbridge, VA. I have also participated in several clothing and food donation drives and feed the homeless with various Motorcycle Groups in the Northern VA area (Prophecy MC, Braveheart Ryderz, and Sudden Impact). Donations were distributed to the Acts Homeless Shelter in Dumfries, VA, Hillda M. Barg Homeless Shelter, Woodbridge, VA, and Thurman Brisben Center, Fredericksburg, VA.
