Connor Edwards '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Connor Edwards and I am part of the class of 2019 at Castle Rock High School in Castle Rock, Washington.

Sports have been a major part of my life since I started in t-ball at five years old. I was serious about every sport I played: baseball, football, wrestling and basketball. But basketball quickly became my passion. I've learned something different and important from every school team and AAU coach I've had, and my teammates too. I'm dedicated to working as hard off the court as on. I can usually be found shooting and working on skills. I even ran cross country for the first time this past fall to prepare myself for the basketball season, and qualified for the district race.

I've been fortunate to be a varsity basketball player each year of high school, three years as a starter, and two years as captain. I was the leading scorer this (senior) year and was the second leading scorer my sophomore and junior years. I received the Most Valuable Player award this year and received the Most Inspirational award my sophomore year. I've received league and all-area recognitions and was also named Athlete of the Week. Being positive and keeping our team pumped is important to me.

I had a great senior season, averaging 16 ppg and remaining in the top 5 of scoring leaders for our area. I had a career high 31 points and five games of 27+ points.

I also have been excelling in the classroom with a 3.7 gpa the first semester of senior year. I'm working hard and preparing to fulfill my dream of playing at the next level.
