Darien Lawson '26 Recruiting Profile

I haven't been playing basketball for that long (only 2 years), but I have improved tremendously. I went from having very little knowledge and knowing only the basic fundamentals to quickly learning the game and my position and each game I continue to improve my stats.

It is my dream to play college basketball ever since I was told I have the potential. I am not at my top level yet and I have a lot of work to go, but I am very coachable. I will work however hard I need to, so I can achieve my highest potential.

I am a 6'10” 195lbs center, I can also play Power forward.  I am very fast because of my long legs, and I have a lot of exploding power. I recently started playing football as a wide receiver and I can catch nearly any ball thrown to me. 

I am a 4.0 GPA student and find school very easy. I'm always ahead in school so balancing sports and school is not hard for me. I constantly look for new challenges and ways to improve on and off the court.
