My goal is to prove to perspective colleges that I have the skill, dedication, and work ethic to contribute to the school and the team. I am dedicated to working hard and earning my spot. My father has always told me that nothing in life will ever be handed to you, you must earn everything. This is where I derive my sound work ethic. I am currently enrolled at the local community college as part of the Washington States "Running Start Program". This allows High School Juniors and Seniors to take college level courses and earn an AA while attending High School. Obtaining an engineering degree while playing basketball at the collegiate level will prove that I can multitask and be successful on many fronts. My morale character, calm demeanor, accountability, and reliability is what makes me different from other recruits. When other recruits are more focused on "What can I do to stand-out, what can I do to be the star", my focus is "What can I do to make the team better". I am a team first, mission driven player. Being humble, adapting to situations as they come, being coachable and wanting to help others around me to reach their goals and be successful is who Myles Lawrence truly is.
