Ethan Thompson '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6 ft 4 200 lb forward, and a junior at Eastlake High School. I was awarded Kingco 4A Honorable Mention for the 2014-2015 season. I pride myself on my ability to score in the post, especially against bigger defenders. I am also a good jump shooter, my form is unique but it goes in-I am working with my coaches this off-season on altering my form so I can be even more reliable. I can get to the rim well, and finish strong inside. I have a gift for getting position and grabbing offensive rebounds, and I am talented at rebounding overall. I am quick in the post, and have very good footwork which allows me to play well on defense. While I am a very talented player, I am also a work horse, and I love diving for loose balls and doing the dirty work. Off the court I am a solid student and an active and religious follower of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In middle school I was an all-state singer in choir for the state of Washington. I have moved 7 times in my life, but they have all been to my advantage. The only disadvantage would be moving from Washington to Idaho and playing my freshman year there, and then moving back to Washington, but I am here to stay. Basketball is my passion, and I want to play it at the next level more than anything.
