Personal Statement

Ever since I was little I loved playing basketball. However once I got into Middle school I was struck down by injury. Five broken bones in a span of two years to be exact. Time flew by and before I knew it I was in High school. I trained the whole summer in preparation for tryouts. But on the last day I was the last person cut. I was devastated but determined to make the team next year. I trained every day for a whole year and eventually made the Junior Varsity team my sophomore year. Now I am willing to put in twice the amount of work I did last year to become an important player on my High school's Varsity team. I think this story best displays how I am willing to put in the work to become a much better player. I am just coming into my prime as this is going to be only my fourth year of basketball. I am willing to persevere in the classroom as currently I have a 3.67 cumulative GPA. My main goal is to hopefully play basketball on college and become the best person and player I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
