This past season a post grad player at 22FT academy in Anderson, South Carolina. In may 2016 I graduated from Teays Valley Christian School in Scott Depot, WV. Where I spend my senior year. I graduated with a 3.3 GPA and a 18 on my ACT. I'm planning to major in neurobiology and anatomy. So that I can go into medical school and become a neurologist. I was facing the NCAA clearinghouse because of my foreign transcript. This is the only reason I did not go to college after HS. Since late may im a final full qualifier on any level.
I'm born and raised in the Netherlands. After playing for my national team U15,U16, U18, and after making it to the final four of our national championship. I wanted a new challenge and that was to play college basketball. I wanted to use my platform to get my education and play the game that I love. In the Netherlands we don't have athletic scholarship. It was going to be hard for my mother to get me through college. So I just work as hard as I can to fulfill my purpose of coming here.
During my high school career in the US. We've won the NACA national championship and the West Virginia state title. I've scored over 2000 points and grabbed over 1500 rebounds in High school. I'm 6'5"/6'6" and weight 200lbs. I'm a versatile perimeter player a natural SG/SF, but I know when I've a smaller defender to go and use my size in my advantage. I've a 40.5" vertical so I love playing above the rim. The strongest part of my game comes on the defensive end. That's where I take most pride on the court. My junior year I averaged 13ppg, 10rpg, 3apg, 2spg, and 1bpg. My senior year I averaged 18ppg, 11reb, 5apg, 4spg, and 2 bpg. This helped me make first team all state; win a state title and make it to the division 1 national championship. This season I'm averaging 14ppg, 12rpg, 7apg, 3 Spg, 2 blocks.
The reason I'm doing this cause I hope that I still get to pursue my dream of playing college ball and become a neurologist. I'm currently back in the Netherlands visiting my mom after 3-4 years, but I hope that I'll be back soon.
