Jace Krueger '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing basketball has always been an emphatic passion of mine.  I’ve always been drawn to the game, not just because of the athletic sport, but because of the things the game teaches me. Immediately, I grew a determination to improve and I still possess that same determination.  Basketball is a big part of our family. My dad is a 6'8" Hall of Fame player from University of Wisconsin-EauClaire and my mom played Division I basketball at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

In my freshman season on Varsity, I quickly became a rotation player off the bench. I finished the season averaging 4.8 ppg and was recognized in the media by WisSports.com and PrepHoops. In my sophomore season, I moved to a starting role, and averaged 5.6 ppg. In my Junior season, I was one of our team's leading scorers and rebounders (10.5 ppg/5.2 rpg). I also became the team's top 3-pt shooter (45%) making 61 shots in 23 games, and was the #3 shooter in the state in the WIAA 3-pt Challenge for Division 4.

I also play AAU for Chapman Basketball Academy.  The AAU experience has allowed me to play against top competition and play with very talented teammates that make me a better player.

I am a very driven student. I strive to achieve success in the classroom. I am in several AP/Honors classes and am projected to graduate high school with 15+ college credits. I am interested in pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant with a specialization in sports medicine and work for a college or professional sports team.

My goal is to be part of a college program that values academics, has a great culture and selfless teammates. I am a coachable player, and look forward to having the opportunity to be part of a team with coaches that will help me reach my full potential as a player and as a person.
