Lance Nelson '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball my whole life and loved the game!  I have 4 brothers who love the game too!  We spent most days at the YMCA, parks, or on our own court in our backyard playing and competing.  At a young age, basketball was my passion.  I played competitively growing up.  I was always the top playmaker on my team, scoring, rebounding and stealing the ball.  I was a three year varsity player in high school.   With 2020-21 being a Pandemic year and also my Senior year, my basketball competition was drastically slowed down.  My AAU season was shortened and my high school senior year was 6 weeks.  I had a nice season and was selected to play in the All Star Game.  I chose to go to college this year and see if my passion is still there.   I am at UW Madison currently and continue to play basketball and lift.  I have goals that I know that I want to accomplish and one is to continue to play the game I love, basketball at the collegiate level.  I miss the competition, the team, the experience.  I am a very skilled point guard who can do it all.  I would love to show my skills and continue to improve while contributing to a team.
