I have a strong desire to play college basketball, while furthering my education. I also have a strong desire to get my degree in sports medicine. As I am currently doing my first year of college I not only know the commitment it takes to play sports, but I also understand time management skills that one must posses to play college basketball and still succeed academically. Having started on a 2x state championship team, a State Runner-Up team in high school, and being a part of a Wisconsin Collegiate Conference State Championship team with a perfect record, I understand the level of competition, dedication, and sacrifice that I have to make in order to be successful. My high school coach is still in contact with me and he continually preaches to me to compete and be the best in everything that I do. I fully intend to keep that same drive and competitiveness at the collegiate level. Unlike most athletes, basketball and academics did not come easily for me. I've had to continually study harder for tests and look for many different gyms, just to get the extra help. While others have been blessed with the natural talent for both of those, I continue to put in the hard work in order for me to get to the next level and succeed. I'm a firm believer that the more you have invested the harder it is to lose and I have no intentions of losing.
