Ever since I have started diving I have bounced from goal to goal gaining more and more experience with each step. My freshman year I wanted to qualify for states and I made it. Sophomore year I wanted to break 200 and I worked at it and had an undefeated dual meet season and I hit 218. I have trained all year to break the school record (236) and I broke it my 5th meet of junior year. I hope to improve my placement in the state open meet from 17th to the top eight and I will now work towards the pool record (271). I work with my coach off season to improve my 3m diving. I hope to finish learning all 2-1/2's and some twists. I would love to dive on a college team that finds importance in training constantly with 100% intensity. I always take advantage of ways to train with my team whether it is board time, stretching/working out, or practicing with the trampoline system. I am aware that education is first and foremost and that I have to balance my passion for diving with my work towards improving grades. I tend to take harder classes that will test me rather than taking the easy low level classes. I always work at accomplishing my goals while maintaining a solid GPA.
