Alex Fulton '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been a competitive swimmer for the past 11 years and was a competitive gymnasts for 4 years. As a Level 4 and a Level 5 gymnasts I placed first in the state All Around. I placed 2nd in the state as a Level 6. An injury took me out of gymnastics but I was able to take my gymnastics talent with me to the diving boards once I started high school.

As a High School diver I've been able to excel over the last 4 years even in the midst of my hometown being hit by a Category 5 hurricane my freshman year and covid altering the season my junior year. My town does not have a year round dive team so I'm limited to a 12-14 week season but I train hard to make the most of the time I do get on the boards. My junior year I broke my school's 6-Dive record and placed 7th in the State for High School 3A. The last 2 years I've also placed 1st in our County meets.

I not only excel on the boards but I also dominate in the classroom. I currently have a 4.64 GPA and am ranked in the top 2% of my graduation class. I have over 230 hours logged giving back to my community and have worked as a lifeguard  as well as taught swim lessons for 2 summers.

I life-long goal of mine is to Dive for one of the military academies. My plan B (it's always important to have a plan B) is to dive for a university and participate in ROTC. Either way, serving my country as an officer is a top priority of mine.
