Carder Price '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carder Price and I am a Junior at Gulf Coast High School in Naples, FL.  I just recently got into competitive diving - summer before my Sophomore year.  Throughout Middle School and into my Freshman year of High School, I was active in Cross Country, Basketball, Football, and Drama Club.  During the spring and summer of 2020 when school was closed I spent time with my uncle, Andy Scott, who was previously the Dive Coach at Duke University and Kenyon College.  He worked with me and taught me the basics of diving.  I joined our diving team for the 2020 season and finished 6th at the All County Meet and then finished our final meet, the District Championships, as the District Runner-up.  I improved my score by roughly 80 points between the County and District meets.  I am now involved in club diving and would love to continue diving in college.  In 2021 as a Junior, I finished 4th in the All County Meet, finished as District Runner-up for the 2nd straight year, and also scored a 281.4 to qualify for regionals.
