William Jansen '22 Recruiting Profile

My biggest collegiate goal is to place top 10 at which ever conference I dive in. I really aspire to show a college coach that I can put in the effort and compete against some amazing divers. The reason I would be a good candidate for your team is because I work extremely hard at practice so that I can be the  best that I can be. I work hard because I want to impress my coach and show them that I'm not wasting their time. I think that I am different from other divers because I love learning about the sport. Learning techniques or drills for diving is awesome because I am a hands on learner; I'm not the biggest fan of worksheets and packets. For both diving and school, I strive to learn from my mistakes and better myself from them. I wholeheartedly believe in failure and learning from it.
