Personal Statement
I am 16 year old diver from Sheffield, England. Whilst excelling at platform, I maintain a strong, consistent springboard list and set of results.
Summer 2023, I competed and finalled at The British Diving Championships with a full 10m list against the best senior GB divers. I also represented GB at Junior Europeans. In 2024 I claimed British Junior Elite platform bronze in A boys, which has gained me an England Diving Y Camp Assessment selection.
I am an exceptionally hard worker in training, very coachable and I thrive in a team environment. I am supportive of all my teammates and have made numerous close friends from clubs in the UK and around the world.
In High Diving; at 14 I became the youngest person to ever dive from a Red Bull platform, and I won silver at the first ever Junior World High Diving Invitational in Montreal. I have 2 senior podium places at the International Cliff Diving Championships in 2022 and 2023. In June 2024, I was invited by Red Bull to train from 27m at the Polignano competition.
I have just completed my GCSE’s where I am hoping for 8s and 9s. I really enjoy Maths, Sciences, Art and Sport. I am looking to take Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Art at A-Level from September. For University I would like to study architecture or continue with a Maths or Science based degree.
I hope I can help enhance a university dive team by demonstrating my work ethic and bringing my strong values. I want to maintain my platform focus but be an all round performer by getting even stronger on springboard.
