Personal Statement

I want to continue diving in college and be a member of a competitive team of divers, supporting each other to improve in the sport. My goal is to contribute to a swimming and diving team and compete in a NCAA Championship meet. My preference is to focus on 1m and 3m springboard diving. I am a hard worker and coachable. I think competing in college would be a really cool experience.

In five years, after I've graduated from high school and college, I want to be able look back on the awesome experiences I had and say, "Wow! What a ride!" Personally, I want to be happy with how I’m spending my time, adding value to the people around me, having good friends, enjoying life and working at a meaningful job I look forward to doing.
